Review: NENRENT Graphite Paddle
Hey Pickle People heres another review!
I was getting a lot of questions on my opinions on the lower priced paddles, so I decided to buy a bunch of them and test them out! This is my review of the NENRENT Graphite Paddle and my overall impression of the performance, playability and the overall comfort of the paddle. I had a great time playing with this paddle for the past month or so and I hope I can give you my most honest review.
Power: 8/10
This is a Polymer/Nomex core and this means its is a little harder feeling, giving you more power and a little less control. I really liked the pop and the power in the paddle and although it is not as refined as many of the paddle I have played with I am very confident to say that for the performance for the price this rivals many of the more expensive paddles out there.
Control: 6/10
The place where this paddle falls a little short of the more premium paddles is in the control of the ball and what kind of shots you can confidently hit. I felt like there just wasn’t that confident feeling that all the hits were as consistent as they could be and that I could not always hit the ball exactly the way I wanted to. This could be the face of the new paddle, but I think it has a little to do with the core paired with the graphite face.
Forgiveness: 5/10
This paddle is forgiving in some areas and not so much in others. When you have lots of court to work with this paddle is very good at making the most of the court, but when picking very specific spots, it can be a little hard to hit the exact shot you want and the ball can get away from you much more easily than a more premium paddle.
Overall: 19/30
Great for the price
Not extremely forgiving
Average control
This is a great beginner paddle and will be perfect for those who want to go out and play. I think the power is right there with the best of them and especially for the price you can look past some of the lower points of this paddle. If you are just trying to get out there and play this is a perfect paddle and it will definitely be able to handle anything you throw at it.
